Drishti was born through Sangeeta Kaur’s personal journey with yoga. In 2020, during lockdown, she discovered the practice as a way to manage grief and reconnect with herself after losing her father. Guided by her sister and long-time yoga teacher Sundeep Sitara, she began to explore yoga’s healing potential and found a new sense of purpose.
What began as a personal exploration soon became a path of growth — from those first tentative steps on the mat to completing her teacher training. Yoga became not just a practice, but a way of life. It offered stillness in chaos, clarity in confusion, and strength in vulnerability.
That journey took her from beginner to certified teacher, and eventually, the creation of Drishti — a space designed for stillness, growth, and reconnection. Drishti is now a sanctuary for others to experience the same transformation — where movement becomes meaningful, and presence becomes powerful.
A Return to Presence
In Sanskrit, Drishti means “focused gaze.” But it’s much more than just where your eyes land. It’s the art of attention — a way to centre yourself in each breath, each movement, and each thought. On the mat and in life, Drishti calls us back to clarity, stillness, and mindful awareness.
Yoga Beyond the Physical
Drishti is built on the foundation that yoga is not just a form of exercise — it’s a way of living. We view yoga as a philosophy that integrates the body, mind, and spirit. Our practices draw on ancient wisdom and contemporary understanding, offering more than just poses — we offer a path to self-awareness and personal transformation.
Be here now. Move with intention. Let your breath lead you back to yourself.
Gentle practices to support emotional release, rest, and inner restoration.
Soften into stillness. Feel the breath ease you into a deeper calm.
Yoga also connects us to the subtle body, the energetic layers that influence our emotions, thoughts, and overall wellbeing. The chakra system is central to this:
Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Grounding, safety, stability
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) – Creativity, pleasure, emotions
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Confidence, power, will
Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Love, compassion, connection
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Communication, truth, expression
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – Intuition, insight, clarity
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Spiritual connection, wisdom, unity
Practicing yoga with awareness of these chakras brings balance and alignment to body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga encourages a relationship with your body based on curiosity, not criticism.
By understanding the anatomy of movement, we can practice more safely and meaningfully:
Spine – The core of your nervous system and posture. Yoga promotes flexibility and strength here.
Core muscles – They support stability, balance, and alignment in every posture.
Breath (Pranayama) – The bridge between body and mind. Breath awareness helps soothe the nervous system.
Nervous system – Slow flows and Yoga Nidra activate the parasympathetic system, encouraging calm and healing.
With this awareness, we move more mindfully, with confidence and care.
Drishti Yoga isn’t just about flexibility or fitness — it’s about presence. It’s about community, stillness, healing, and the courage to show up for yourself. This is your invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
Drishti is a space to heal, to grow, and to honour your own rhythm, not just your body’s flexibility.
Through classes and workshops, we explore traditional yoga philosophy in a way that feels real and relevant today.
Whether you're here to reconnect, to reset, or to simply breathe, you’re welcome as you are.
Drishti is a practice, a place, and a perspective. This is your space. This is your Drishti.
Yoga and meditation go hand in hand, one prepares the body, the other calms the mind. Together, they lead us to deeper presence and balance.
Meditation is simply the practice of sitting with yourself, observing your breath and thoughts without judgment or resistance.
In Sanskrit, drishti means focused gaze. On the mat, it grounds your posture; in meditation, it anchors your awareness.
To shift from stress to calm, from reaction to reflection, cultivating awareness, clarity, and compassion in everyday life.
From mindfulness and guided visualisations to mantra, chakra work, and Yoga Nidra, there’s something for everyone at Drishti.
No experience needed. Just a quiet moment and a willing heart. Drishti holds space for you to breathe, pause, and return to yourself.
